Switzerland 3-0 North Macedonia: Rieder, Manzambi and Ndoye maintain perfect Nations League run

Lucerne, Switzerland — Switzerland maintained their perfect start to the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League with a convincing 3-0 victory over North Macedonia at the Thermoplan Arena on Tuesday.

Fabian Rieder, Johan Manzambi and Dan Ndoye were all on target as Murat Yakin's side recorded a fourth consecutive victory in Group B1.

Rieder breaks the deadlock

Switzerland dominated the contest and eventually found the breakthrough in the 43rd minute.

Fabian Rieder scored to give the hosts a 1-0 lead just before half-time, sending Switzerland into the interval in control of the match.

North Macedonia had already suffered three defeats in their opening group matches and struggled to contain a Swiss side that had won their previous meetings with them and Scotland by 3-0 margins.
