LAGOS, Nigeria — The Super Falcons now have 26 players in camp after five more arrived between Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday, ahead of Friday’s first leg against Comoros in the 2028 Olympic qualifiers.
Training is set for Wednesday and Thursday. The first leg is at the Remo Stars Stadium. The return is next Tuesday. Nigeria want a result to take away before the second leg.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade is already in, with Jennifer Echegini, Toni Payne, Christy Ucheibe, Michelle Alozie, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Gift Monday and Uchenna Kanu. The group mixes Europe, Asia, North America and the domestic league.
