Plans for Kyle Walker’s immediate future have been confirmed. AC Milan have decided not to activate the buy option in his loan deal, meaning the experienced right-back will formally return to Manchester City.
However, his stay at City will be brief—Walker is not expected to travel with the squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, and the club is already exploring new destinations for the England international.
Several clubs have begun making approaches as talks continue behind the scenes to find the right solution for the 34-year-old, who is set for another move in the coming weeks.
