Zambia beat South Africa to win 2022 COSAFA Women's Cup

By Emmanuel Oladele - Zambia have beaten South Africa in the final of the 2022 COSAFA Women's Championship held at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium, Ibhayi in South Africa on Sunday. The Copper Queens defeated the Banyana Banyana of South Africa by 1-0 in the thrilling encounter.

After a goalless 90 minutes, Zambia Captain Barbra Banda scored a superb header in the 19th minute of the extra time second half. The Zambians held on to their 1-0 lead until the end of the extra time to clinch the COSAFA Cup title. See details below;
