By Emmanuel Oladele - In the 2021 Nigeria National League Super 8, six games have been concluded for both Group A Northern Conference and Group B Southern Conference each.
In the Northern conference, Niger Tornadoes of Minna currently top the log with 4 points after two games. On the other hand, Remo Stars are leading the Southern Conference ahead of Shooting Stars with goal difference. See the log below for details;
For Northern Conference, the Matchday 2 involving Gombe United and DMD FC was called off in the 65th minute due to heavy downpour and the remaining 25 minutes will hold on Friday at 10am.
Also, in the Southern Conference, the Matchday 2 between Bendel Insurance and Ekiti United did not also hold at all due to the heavy downpour in Enugu, the match has been rescheduled to hold immediately after Gombe United vs DMD game on Friday.
The top two teams in each Group or Conference will gain promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), and also the Super 8 semi-final, the Super 8 final game will determine the Champion of the Nigeria National League (NNL) for the 2020/21 League season.
