NNL Super 8: Matchday 2 Results and Details of Games that will hold Today Thursday


By Emmanuel Oladele - Three games were played in the 2021 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 on Wednesday, which are matchday 2, Shooting Stars of Ibadan were held to a 1-1 draw by Remo Stars, Niger Tornadoes defeated El-Kanemi Warriors by 2-0.

The scoreline of the game between Gombe United and DMD FC was 1-0 before the game was called off in the 65th minute due to heavy downpour. The remaining 25 minutes will be played on Friday at 10am.


The game between Bendel Insurance of Benin and Ekiti United did not hold also due to the heavy downpour in Enugu on Wednesday, and the match has be rescheduled to hold on Friday immediately after the game between Gombe United and DMD FC. See details of Matchday 2 Results below;

• Wed. 08/09. El-Kanemi 0-2 Niger Tornadoes FT.

• Wed. 08/09. Shooting Stars 1-1 Remo Stars FT.

• Wed. 08/09. Gombe United 1-0 DMD FC (Match called off in the 65th minute due to heavy downpour). The remaining 25 minutes to be played on Friday 10/09 at 10am.

• Wed. 08/09. Bendel Insurance vs Ekiti United (did not hold at all and was postponed due to heavy downpour in Enugu, match to hold immediately after Gombe United vs DMD game on Friday 10/09).
