According to a tweet on the Super Eagles social media account, Ebuehi has been called upon as replacement for injured Leganes defender, Kenneth Omeruo.
The former Chelsea defender has pulled out of the big friendly match with the Selecão of Brazil with just a week to go.
Ebuehi, 23 is making his long awaiting return back to the National set-up after enduring an injury plague 2018/2019 season with the current winners of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira.
Three-time African Champions, Nigeria will battle against Brazil in Singapore on 13 October.
