Rantie, Baxter Hopeful against Eagles

The Bafana Bafana arrived in Uyo,Nigeria yesterday since departing from South Africa on Wednesday. The team will continue with final preparations today, ahead of Saturday’s opening encounter of the Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers against the Super Eagles.
Speaking to the South African Football Association’s website, Head Coach, Stuart Baxter, has praised his group of players on their energy within the Bafana camp. “What I have liked about this group of players is their fantastic attitude and energy. You can see this group of players want to do great things for their country and are intent on leaving a lasting impression,” Baxter said.
Tokelo Rantie, who made his return to the national team setup, has been in good form for his club, Genclerbirligi Ankara, in Turkey, says that he is ready for the challenge if he makes Baxter’s matchday squad on Saturday. “I am enjoying my game again and if picked for Saturday’s game, I will welcome the challenge. I believe in hard work and that has always been the basis of my game,” he said. Bafana will lock horns with Nigeria on Saturday, June 10, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
