UEFA Nations League – Thursday Round-Up

Portugal brushed aside the drama surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from camp to record a third consecutive win in the UEFA Nations League, while Jürgen Klopp finally claimed his first victory as Germany coach.

In Copenhagen, Portugal came from behind twice before running out 4-2 winners against Denmark, with goals from João Cancelo, Gonçalo Ramos, Vitinha and João Félix. In Munich, Germany defeated Serbia 2-0 thanks to strikes from Tom Bischof and Florian Wirtz.

Elsewhere, Greece and the Netherlands shared a 2-2 draw in Thessaloniki, while Wales edged Norway 2-1 in Cardiff. There were also draws involving Republic of Ireland and Austria, Israel and Kosovo, Malta and Gibraltar, and Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein.
