South Africa produced a disciplined defensive display at the Estadio Olímpico de la Cartuja to keep the hosts scoreless and record their seventh consecutive victory over Spain.
Jacobs breaks the deadlock
Spain made a determined start in front of more than 2,000 supporters, but South Africa gradually imposed its physicality through the scrum and set-piece.
The Springbok Women eventually opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Catha Jacobs powered over the line following sustained pressure.
Jacomina Cilliers converted the try to give South Africa a 7-0 lead.
Cilliers extends South Africa's lead
The visitors continued to control territory and possession as Spain struggled to turn promising attacking opportunities into points.
Cilliers added a penalty in the 32nd minute to extend the advantage to 10-0 before half-time.
Spain's defence was tested repeatedly after the break, while South Africa's scrum continued to provide a strong platform for attack.
Hele adds a second try
The Springbok Women increased their advantage four minutes into the second half.
Aseza Hele powered over the line in the 44th minute following a series of attacking phases, although Cilliers could not add the conversion.
The try put South Africa 15-0 ahead and left Spain facing an increasingly difficult task.
Cilliers completes the scoring
South Africa continued to press and eventually added a third try in the 67th minute.
Cilliers finished a well-worked team move to make it 20-0. She was unable to convert her own try, but the Springbok Women remained firmly in control.
Spain pushed for a consolation try late in the match, but South Africa's defence remained resolute to secure a clean sheet and a convincing victory.
Vainah Ubisi was named Player of the Match for an influential performance in the South African pack.
Strong finish to European tour
The victory capped a positive final stretch of South Africa's European tour.
The Springbok Women had previously lost 50-19 to Wales before recovering to defeat Italy 41-29 in Pordenone. They then followed that victory with a shutout against Spain.
South Africa will now return home with momentum ahead of two Tests against Ireland in Cape Town, which will conclude their 2026 season.
