Musa Barrow scores twice as Al-Khaleej beat Al-Hazem while Mané inspires Al-Nassr

Saudi Arabia — Gambian forward Musa Barrow delivered an outstanding performance for Al-Khaleej, scoring twice in their 5-3 victory over Al-Hazem in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday, 29 October 2026.

The 27-year-old opened the scoring before adding another goal late in the match to complete Al-Khaleej’s comeback. His performance offered an encouraging sign of his return to form after an injury-disrupted spell at former club Al-Taawoun.

Meanwhile, Senegal international Sadio Mané contributed a goal and an assist as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Kholood 5-3, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick.

Barrow shines in Al-Khaleej comeback

Barrow gave Al-Khaleej the lead in the 24th minute with a deflected effort, marking another important contribution since joining the club ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Al-Hazem responded before half-time, with Algerian midfielder Sofiane Bendebka scoring from a free-kick before DR Congo forward Afimico Pululu put the visitors ahead in stoppage time.

Al-Khaleej returned from the break with renewed determination, and Malian defender Kiki Kouyaté restored parity less than two minutes into the second half.

Joshua King then put the hosts ahead after the 70th minute before Barrow completed the comeback. The Gambian forward went around goalkeeper Jindřich Staněk and finished to secure his second goal of the evening and help Al-Khaleej claim a 5-3 victory.

The brace was particularly encouraging for Barrow, who managed only six appearances for Al-Taawoun last season because of a long-term knee injury. He had already scored his first Al-Khaleej goal in a 3-2 win over Al-Fateh eleven days earlier.

Mané and Ronaldo lead Al-Nassr to victory

In another entertaining encounter, Mané played a decisive role as Al-Nassr overcame Al-Kholood by the same 5-3 scoreline.

Al-Nassr initially fell behind but responded through Brazilian forward Ângelo before Mané found the net to give his side an advantage. Al-Kholood fought back, with Cameroonian forward Loïc Essomba scoring an equaliser before the interval.

Cristiano Ronaldo took control after the restart, scoring in the 66th and 72nd minutes to put Al-Nassr ahead. The Portuguese captain later completed his hat-trick, with Mané providing the assist for the third goal.

The Senegalese forward's contribution continued his productive partnership with Ronaldo and took his tally for the season to three league goals and five assists after 11 appearances.

Bonsu Baah features in Al-Qadsiah's big win

Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah also featured in Thursday's Saudi Pro League action as Al-Qadsiah recorded a 6-0 victory over Al-Riyadh.

Although he did not register a goal or assist, Bonsu Baah remained involved in the attacking play, completing three of his seven attempted dribbles.

The performances of Barrow, Mané and Bonsu Baah provided another notable evening for African players competing in Saudi Arabia's top flight.
