Match Reports
Milford edge Golden Arrows
Milford continued their impressive start to life in the top flight with a hard-fought 1-0 KZN derby win over Golden Arrows at Princess Magogo Stadium. The victory extended their unbeaten run to four matches and lifted them into the top four, leapfrogging Kaizer Chiefs.
Kruger United snatch late win at Chippa
Kruger United claimed their second league win of the season in dramatic fashion, defeating Chippa United 1-0 at Buffalo City Stadium. The decisive goal came deep in stoppage time through Sibiya, who controlled a cross and fired into the bottom corner.
Sekhukhune United leave it late
Sekhukhune United secured a gritty 2-1 victory over Marumo Gallants at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium. Phiri opened the scoring before an own goal levelled matters, only for substitute Bethuel Muzeu to head home a stoppage-time winner.
Siwelele finally break their duck
Siwelele ended their long wait for a first league win of the season with a dramatic 1-0 triumph over Polokwane City. Michel N’Guessan (also reported as Yao Evrard in some reports) found the net in the 90th minute to spark scenes of celebration.
The results leave Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates still clear at the top of the table, while Milford’s continued progress and the late drama elsewhere kept the mid-table tightly contested.
