The Moroccan club acquired the forward’s services from ASVO FC for a reported fee of 500,000 MAD (approximately $53,300). Olugbade had been training with Wydad for several weeks on an assessment basis and impressed the technical staff enough to earn a permanent deal.
Born on 15 November 2006, the attacker joins the Red Castle as one of the club’s latest summer additions under Portuguese coach Paulo Sérgio.
Details of the move:
- Player: Junior Pamilerin Olugbade
- Age: 19
- Nationality: Benin
- Position: Forward
- From: ASVO FC (Benin)
- To: Wydad AC (Morocco)
- Contract: 4 years
- Fee: 500,000 MAD (~$53,300)
The signing is viewed as a low-cost, high-potential addition as Wydad continue to reshape their squad.
