ACCRA, Ghana — Every player named NASCO Man of the Match in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League will receive a 32-inch digital television as part of an enhanced reward package announced by the competition’s long-standing partner.
Electroland Ghana Limited, the distributors of NASCO Electronics, has upgraded the prize for the weekly individual award ahead of the new season, which begins this weekend. The improved offering marks the biggest reward NASCO has provided for Man of the Match winners since the company began supporting top performers around eight seasons ago.
In previous campaigns, recipients of the award typically took home items such as mobile phones, men’s grooming kits, standing fans or audio systems. The decision to present a 32-inch television represents a significant step up and is expected to further motivate players across the league.
NASCO also continues to reward outstanding performers in the Gold Fields Women’s Premier League and the Division One League, underlining its broad commitment to domestic football in Ghana.
Chief Executive Officer of Electroland Ghana Limited, Nour Seklaoui, described the upgrade as part of the company’s ongoing contribution to the local game.
“This is our contribution to support local football. Our continuous improvement of reward packages season after season for players and coaches of the Men’s Premier League, Women’s Premier League and Division One League underlines our commitment to give back. We wish the GFA, the clubs, coaches and all the players the best of luck as the season opens in a few days,” he said.
Ghana Football Association General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo welcomed the enhanced package and praised NASCO’s long-term partnership.
“We are grateful to NASCO Electronics for their continuous support. They have been one of our longest-serving partners for domestic football and this improved package will further motivate players and coaches to give their best,” Addo stated.
The announcement comes as clubs prepare for the start of another competitive Ghana Premier League campaign. The upgraded Man of the Match reward is expected to add extra incentive for players to deliver standout performances each matchday, while also highlighting the continued commercial support that helps sustain the domestic game.
