GABORONE, Botswana — ZESCO Ndola Girls have been drawn into Group A of the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA Qualifiers following the official group stage draw held in Gaborone on Tuesday.
The Zambia Women’s Super League champions will face hosts and defending champions Gaborone United of Botswana, Lesotho Defence Force Ladies of Lesotho, and Herentals Queens of Zimbabwe in the group stage.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The eventual winner of the regional tournament will represent the COSAFA region at the CAF Women’s Champions League continental finals later this year.
ZESCO Ndola Girls reached the final on their debut appearance in 2025, only to lose 4-3 on penalties to Gaborone United after a 1-1 draw. The Ndola-based side will be aiming to go one better this time and secure a place on the continental stage.
