Yira Collins Sor Completes Move to Turkish Süper Lig Side Amedspor

LAGOS, Nigeria — Nigerian winger Yira Collins Sor has completed a transfer to Turkish Süper Lig club Amedspor from Belgian side KRC Genk.

The 26-year-old forward, who earned his first senior international cap for the Super Eagles in March, leaves Genk after several seasons in Belgium.

Sor joined Genk in 2022 and went on to make over 100 appearances across all competitions, contributing goals and assists while also featuring in European fixtures. Prior to his time in Belgium, the former 36 Lion Academy product played for Baník Ostrava and Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic.

The move marks the next chapter of his European career as he joins newly promoted Amedspor. The Turkish club will be hoping his pace, creativity and attacking threat can strengthen their squad for the new Süper Lig campaign, while Sor will look to establish himself as a key player and boost his prospects with the Super Eagles.
