Yanga Move Closer to Re-Signing Aziz Ki from Al Ittihad

DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania — Young Africans SC have formally submitted an offer to Libyan side Al Ittihad for the return of midfielder Aziz Ki.

According to reports, Yanga’s proposal is valued at $500,000, structured as $300,000 payable upon the player’s signature and a further $200,000 due on or before January 2027. An additional $300,000 is expected to come from the player’s camp to complete the overall package.

Sources indicate that Al Ittihad have accepted the offer. Ki is understood to have made it clear at the end of last season that he did not wish to remain with the Libyan club, paving the way for a potential return to Jangwani Street.

The midfielder previously featured for Yanga and is highly regarded by the club’s supporters. His possible homecoming would represent a significant boost to the squad as they prepare for the new season under the current technical setup.

Negotiations are said to be at an advanced stage, with the deal now considered imminent. Further confirmation is expected once the remaining formalities between the clubs and the player’s representatives are finalised.
