Rayon Sports Storm into CECAFA Kagame Cup Final with 3-1 Win over Jamus

KIGALI, Rwanda — Hosts Rayon Sports booked their place in the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup final with a convincing 3-1 victory over South Sudan’s Jamus SC in Tuesday’s second semi-final.

The Rwandan side produced a strong performance to overcome their opponents and set up a title clash with Kenyan giants Gor Mahia.

The final is now confirmed for Friday, 7 August at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

Gor Mahia had earlier secured their final berth by defeating Sudanese club Al Hilal 8-7 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Rayon Sports will now aim to lift the regional trophy on home soil, while Gor Mahia seek to end a long wait for the CECAFA Kagame Cup title.
