Christian N’Sengi-Biembe Appointed New Head Coach of South Sudan

JUBA, South Sudan — Christian N’Sengi-Biembe has been appointed as the new head coach of the South Sudan national team.

The Belgian-Congolese tactician has signed a one-year contract, with an option to extend, and will take charge of the senior side known as the Bright Stars.

In addition to his role with the senior national team, N’Sengi-Biembe will also serve as technical consultant for South Sudan’s youth national teams, underlining a broader developmental focus within the federation.

The appointment marks a new chapter for South Sudanese football as the Bright Stars look to build on recent progress and strengthen their position in continental competitions. N’Sengi-Biembe brings experience from both European and African football environments to the role.
