Karim Adeyemi Reveals Hansi Flick’s Direct Call Convinced Him to Join Barcelona

BARCELONA, Spain — New Barcelona signing Karim Adeyemi has revealed that a straightforward phone call from head coach Hansi Flick was all it took to convince him to join the Catalan giants.

Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, the German forward explained how the conversation unfolded and why he needed no persuasion to make the switch from Borussia Dortmund.

“Hansi Flick called me and asked me if I wanted to come to Barça. I told him of course, because it’s the biggest club in the world,” Adeyemi said. “These opportunities only come once. He didn’t have to convince me.”
