Al Ahly Secure Vodafone Naming Rights for New Stadium

CAIRO, Egypt — Al Ahly SC have entered a major partnership with Vodafone that includes naming rights for the club’s new stadium.

The venue under construction will be officially known as Vodafone Stadium.

The agreement forms part of a wider multi-year commercial deal between the two parties and has been described by the club as one of the largest investment partnerships in Middle Eastern sport.

The signing ceremony took place near the Giza Pyramids and was attended by Al Ahly president Mahmoud El Khatib, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, and senior Vodafone representatives.
