Jamaican sprinter Ackera Nugent delivered a standout performance at the Silesia Diamond League, winning the first heat of the women's 100m hurdles with a rapid time of 12.34s. Her victory led a strong showing for Jamaica, which secured the top two spots in the heat.
Nugent was followed closely by her compatriot, Danielle Williams, who finished in second place with a time of 12.43s. American hurdler Tonea Marshall placed third in 12.47s, just ahead of Nigeria's Tobi Amusan, who finished fourth in 12.48s.
