Matias Almeyda has reached an agreement to take over as the new head coach of Sevilla, signing an initial three-year contract with the La Liga club.
According to reports from ClMerlo, the deal is complete and contracts are ready to be signed, despite recent interest from several Italian clubs. Almeyda has opted for a new challenge in Spain, marking the beginning of a fresh chapter in his managerial career.
The Argentine coach is expected to bring his high-energy, attacking philosophy to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium as Sevilla aim to rebuild and return to the top tier of Spanish football.
