2024 African Championships Women's Shot Put Final Results: Ashley Erasmus Dominates

South Africa's Ashley Erasmus clinched the gold medal in the women's shot put final at the 2024 African Championships held in Douala on Monday. Erasmus showcased her prowess with a winning throw of 18.17 meters, securing the top position and reaffirming her status as a formidable athlete in the field.

Erasmus was closely followed by compatriot Mine de Klerk, who claimed the silver medal with a throw of 17.09 meters, ensuring a strong South African presence on the podium.
