Women's Football: Zambia beat Morocco in Rabat, qualify for 2024 Paris Olympics Football Event

Copper Queens of Zambia in the early hours of today beat the Morocco's Lionesses of Atlas in Paris 2024 Olympics Qualifiers to qualify for the Olympics Women's Football Events.

Following a 2-1 deficit in the first leg of the encounter in Ndola, Zambia's forward and Captain Barbra Banda scored twice to overturn the 2-1 deficit, taking the scoreline to 2-3 on aggregate in favour of Zambia. Barbra scored in the 38th minute to draw Zambia to level on aggregate before scoring from the spot in 105th minute of the extra time, leaving the full time scoreline in 2-3 on aggregate in favour of the Copper Queens of Zambia.
