Today Monday, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria had their first training at the training pitch of the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers, as the team continue their preparations for upcoming 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The team departed Nigeria on Sunday and have settled in Algiers.
The Nigeria U-17 are in Group B alongside Morocco, South Africa and Zambia. The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will open their campaign in the tournament on Sunday 30th May, 2023 against Zambia U-17 at Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui in Constantine, 17:00 Nigeria Time (+1 GMT).
The tournament will hold between 29th April to 19th May 2023 in Algeria. 12 Teams from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) are participating in the competition.
