Photos: Napoli Forward Victor Osimhen receives Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year Award

By Emmanuel Oladele - Napoli and Super Eagles Forward Victor Osimhen has received his Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year Award. The award he was presented by Global Soccer for his outstanding performance in 2022.

The Globe Soccer Awards is also known as Dubai d'Or, are football awards organised by the European Club Association (ECA) in conjunction with the European Association of Player's Agents (EFAA) and presented by the organisation Globe Soccer. The awards has different categories. The Emerging Player of the Year Award is sponsored by Power Horse. The Globe Soccer is based in Dubai and it's where Legends are honoured.

The organisation also posted Osimhen on their Twitter page on Wednesday with photos in a post which reads as follows; "Earlier today, Napoli and Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen received his Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year award for his outstanding performance during 2022 🇳🇬."

The 24-year-old also took to his Twitter handle to thank the organisation for the recognition, "Just Receive The @Globe_Soccer Award For The Power Horse Emerging Player Of The Year,Thank You For The Recognition,And To Those That Have Been Supporting Me Through The Years,I Appreciate Y’all.GOD Is The Greatest💯🙏🏽," Osimhen tweeted on Wednesday.

The 2022 edition, which is the 13th edition of the awards was held on 17th November 2022 at the Madinat Jumeirah Resort in Dubai, and since then Osimhen won the award but was only presented on Wednesday.
