NPFL Clubs set for Unfinished Tasks in Continental Games

By Emmanuel Oladele - Three Clubs from the Nigeria Professional Football League, Rivers United, Plateau United and Kwara United face another tough task this weekend as they seek to complete their unfinished assignments in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.

Recall that the three teams won the first leg of their CAF Games second preliminary round first legs against three African Giants last weekend. Rivers United defeated Moroccan Giants Wydad Athletic Club by 2-1, while Plateau United beat Esperance of Tunisia by same scoreline. On the other hand, Kwara United produced a stunning 3-1 win over RSB Berkane of Morocco in the CAF Confederation Cup. Meanwhile, the second leg of those encounters hold this weekend away from home for all the Nigerian clubs.
