By Olamide Oyetunji - World Wrestling Entertainment could have another challenger for the highly respected WWE United States Championship in the shape of a Nigerian Prince.
Former WWE Intercontinental champion Apollo Crews has set his sight on the United Championship few week after returning to the RAW brand.
Apollo Crews featured in a segment on RAW after a gruelling match-up between the current champion Damian Priest and T-bar.
It must be noted that Priest returned to Raw on October 25, 2021 with a new, revamped character and won a match against T-Bar by disqualification, when the latter threw a chair at the former outside the ring
As a result, Priest viciously attacked T-Bar.
This week, T-Bar attacked Priest with a stick during their match, due to which Priest again attacked T-Bar in a similar fashion, further developing his new character and mannerisms, before getting challenged by Apollo Crews.
Apollo Crews who came out in Nigerian colours was accompanied by Commander Azeez whose original name is Babatunde Ayegbusi.
It must be recalled that Apollo Crews won the gold in 2020 and was the holder when the title was rebranded and redesigned before later losing to a combat freak in Bobby Lashley.
