2021 Women's AfroBasket: Nigeria beat Mozambique in Yaoundé

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Nigeria Women's National Basketball Team, D'Tigress defeated Mozambique in their opening game on Saturday night in the ongoing Cameroon 2021 Women AfroBasket.

The Mozambique Women's National Basketball Team won the first and second quarter by 11-12, and 18-21 respectively. Hughley Otis lead side reacted so well in the third quarter with a superb 18-21 win, and also dominated the fourth quarter which ended 14-8 in favour of D'Tigress, leaving the final score at 67-50.

Ezinne Kalu was instrumental to D'Tigress win as she scored 17 points, and 5 assist in the thrilling encounter.
