There's no denying that it's been weeks of fortune for everyone of Rivers United persuasion. The draw at Plateau United got things off to a good start, and the 2-0 win over MFM FC in Port Harcourt has made it even more pleasing.

So it comes as a relief to get the team back on track, and a chance to start the process of climbing up the table as technical adviser Stanley Eguma says, the team need to fashion out a strategy and tactics that will be able to overcome Lobi Stars as the 'Pride of Rivers' hope not to drop any point in Makurdi.

But Lobi Stars under Kabiru Dogo will certainly make life difficult. The 'Pride of Benue' have won three and lost three of their last six matches and are firmly ensconced in mid-table, sitting in 10th position with 22 points.

It is all set up to be another big test for Stanley Eguma's men, who currently occupy the sixth position on the NPFL table with 26 points from 15 matches.
