AFCON Qualifiers: Rohr Replaces Moses Simon with Onuachu

By Olamide Oyetunji - Super Eagles striker Paul Ebere Onuachu has been invited to the Super Eagles squad for 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Benin Republic and Lesotho.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation and Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, FC Nantes will not release winger Moses Simon for the Super Eagles games against the Squirrels of Benin Republic and the Crocodiles of Lesotho due to COVID-19 regulations in France.

Paul Onuachu has been selected as Moses Simons's replacement joining Henry Onyekuru who replaced Samuel Kalu.
