Adekunle Adeleke is the latest player to be added to the Super Eagles squad after yet another withdrawal as 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner Kenneth Omeruo was allowed to stepdown.
According to the former Rangers International gaffer, the invitation is a reward for hard work.
"It is a big booster, personally, I am happy when as a team, a player gets a call up to the National team.
"It is a reward of hard work, whatever you are doing, give it all your best because someone somewhere is watching and taking note of it."
