Arsenal to Sign Akanji from Borussia Dortmund

According to The Sun, Arsenal are preparing a £25m offer for Borussia Dortmund's 23-year-old Manuel Obafemi Akanji.

The Switzerland international was in action over the weekend when Borrusia Dortmund defeated Schalke 04 by 4-0 in the German Bundesliga.

The Centre-back have been a regular starter for Borussia Dortmund under manager Lucien Favre and Mikel Arteta is after the defender to bolster his squad as the Gunners prepares for next season.

Akanji has a Swiss mother and a Swiss-Nigerian father.
