PSL: Samir Nurkovic is the Best Striker in the League - Edward Motale

By Deon Dumisani - Orlando Pirates legend Edward 'Magents' Motale speaks about how the new Kaizer Chiefs striker is and thinks he's the best player this season.

"Samir Nurkovic has 11 goals in the league and there are no penalties, that speaks volumes. I'm not against penalties but if a player can reach that mark in Africa without scoring penalties it's unbelievable."

"There are two players in the league, Gabadinho Mhango and Bonginkosi Ntuli who are ahead of him in terms of goals but they've scored penalties."

"Penalties are a lot of responsibilities, you must have a big heart when taking them and Mhango is the best in that. As for Ntuli if AmaZulu don't get relegated then they should erect his statue."

"If a player was to be nominated by me for the best player of the season I would give it to Samir Nurkovic. And if he has never made any appearance for his country we should consider registering him. He could help us."
