Crisis Rock Super Falcons

The most successful national team under the umbrella of the Nigeria Football Federation is in deep crisis following series of events in the last few days.

According to sources closer to the glass house, the NFF members are not happy with some older members of the Super Falcons after they staged a protest in July due to unpaid bonuses and allowances.
In a bid to Savage the situation, the Amaju Pinnick led board decided to flush out some of the players that were behind the reported protest in France.

Swedish tactician, Thomas Dennerby was totally against the moves by the governing body and subsequently tender his resignation.

Before the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, veterans, Onome Ebi and Rita Chikwelu were on rotational pattern concerning the leadership of the team.
With their exit from the team imminent, the Gaffer took responsibility by appointing successor in French -based Desire Oparanozie and anointed former FC Robo star, Asisat Oshoala as the deputy.

Some Women football experts also cited that a debacle happened between young goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie and the most decorated girl on the roster, Asisat Oshoala that nearly broke the World Cup squad down.

The recent events that saw Thomas Dennerby resign, shocking promotion of Asisat Oshoala from assistant captain to skipper by interim gaffer Christopher Danjuma has justified the Federation intention in disbanding the team.
With less than two weeks to go before the all important double header for the TOKYO 2020 Olympics against Ivory Coast, only seven foreign professionals were invited by the principal body.

Meanwhile, nigfooty.com is getting feeler that the newly appointed captain and Barcelona Femení superstar, Asisat Oshoala might take time out for the Ivorian assignment.
