Ajax have officially named John Heitinga as their new head coach, marking a full-circle moment for the former Dutch international.
Heitinga is no stranger to the Amsterdam giants — he previously played for Ajax and briefly took charge as interim manager in 2023. Most recently, he served as assistant coach to Arne Slot at Liverpool, gaining valuable Premier League experience.
