Super Eagles Stars Excluded From Lone Stars Party

Some regulars in the Nigerian national team set-up have been asked to return back to their clubs early enough by Coach Gernot Rohr.

After a convincing 0-3 away victory in Seychelles,Some big boys of the Super Eagles were told to forfeit the Tuesday exhibition match in Monrovia.

Players like Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo, Ogenyi Onazi, Leon Balogun who are leaders in the dressing room are already soaring back to their employers while first choice goalkeeper Francis Uzoho and Russian-based Brian Idowu are also excluded from the West African friendly.

In desperation for National team game time, goalkeepers Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Daniel Akpeyi, midfielders John Ogu,Joel Obi, defender Chidozie Awaziem and attackers Simeon Nwankwo, Henry Onyekuru are part of the squad to increase their caps while freshers like Semi Ajayi, Jamilu Collins, Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Kalu will show Nigerians what they got to offer in less competitive atmosphere.

The youthful trio of Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Kelechi Iheanacho are not gambling with their spots.

Nigerian League professionals in Enyimba duo of Mfon Udoh and Sunday Adetunji,Ebube Duru (a star of Lobi) and Adeleye Olamilekan of FC Ifeanyi Ubah will as part of the 18-man squad fly out to Liberia Capital on Monday Night.

The match is in celebration of Liberian President, George Oppong Weah, and will take place inside the 35,000-capacity Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.
