Golden Eaglet of Nigeria defeated the Black Starlets of Ghana to pick Tanzania 2019 U17 Africa Championship Ticket

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria today defeated the Black Starlets of Ghana in the final of the WAFU B U17 Cup, the match was decided with penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw in normal duration.

After playing 1-1 in normal regulation time, it ended 3-1 in Naimey after penalty shootout in favour of Nigeria Golden Eaglets.

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria are now through to Tanzania 2019 CAF U17 Championship as they also seek to obtain the World Cup ticket. And Nigeria has become the first country to win the first WAFU U17 Championship.
