Enyimba, Rayon Sports share spoil in Kigali

The Peoples Elephants on Sunday played a 0-0 draw with their Rwandan counterpart in the quarter final of the ongoing CAF Confederations Cup.

The host looked comfortable with possession for some minutes of the game with Theofilus Afelokhai saving Enyimba from some trouble.

Enyimba came close to scoring in the 48th minute but a poor final  decision by Mustapha and Adetunji in Rayon box wasted the effort.

Wasiu Alalade missed another chance in the 60th minute that could have put the Peoples Elephants ahead of Rayon Sports.

Wasted chances cost Enyimba the victory in Kigali and would have paid for it, but thanks to some wonderful saves from Theofilus Afelokhai from both far and far range.

Enyimba will hope to change the goal aggregate when they host Rayon Sports in the next two weeks in Aba. It could be a dangerous encounter for the Peoples Elephants has any goal in Aba may cost  Enyimba from progressing to the quarter final.

After 90 minutes, Rayon Sports 0-0 Enyimba, so it ended in Kigali, Rwanda.
