In the second leg of the third round of Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, the Super Eagles of Nigeria played a one-all draw with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. The Super Eagles of Nigeria started the game slowly before they were able to established themselves in the tight encounter.

The Indomitable Lions look so much determined in the second half with the kind of flair they brought into the game, the Eagles were managing the pressure until there was a collision between Nigeria Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa and a Cameroonian in Nigeria 18-yard-box, referee Bakary Papa Gassama adjudged the case to be a penalty in favour the Indomitable Lions and Vincent Aboubakar sending Ikechukwu Ezenwa to a wrong direction to bring the Lions back into the game in the 75th minute.

The pace of Nigeria Victor Moses was a big threat to the Cameroonians but they did their best to prevent the Chelsea man from causing another damage.

The introduction of some fresh legs by Gernot Rohr could not change the situation for Nigeria in the second half.
