Nigeria, Cote D'Ivoire, Zambia lose at home

Two giants in Africa Football Nigeria and Cote D'Ivoire were defeated by less rated teams even on their home soils in Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations Qualification matches played across the Continent. Zambia also bowed to a less rated Mozambique.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday's evening were defeated by their South Africa counterpart in Uyo, Nigeria. The South Africans stunned Nigeria twice in the second half after the first half ended 0-0, thanks to Rantie's header in the 54th minute and Percy Tau astonishing finish in the 81st minute that gave the Bafana Bafana the well deserved victory.

Another Africa power house Cote D'Ivoire were defeated by their Guineans counterpart 2-3. Guinea Conakry stunned the Ivorians thrice in the encounter having played a 1-1 draw in the first half. In the second half the Guineans scored two more goals but Ivorians could only score once and it ended 2-3 in favour of visiting Guineans. S. Dounmbia found the back of the net twice for the Ivorians in the 14th and 61st minute respectively but S. Diallo goal in the 31st minute levelled the game for Guineans in the first half and F. Kamano and N. Keita 66th and 79th minute strikes were enough to cancel Ivorians 61th minute lead to give Guinea Conakry a well deserved victory.

Also, Zambia carelessly bowed to Mozambique on Saturday with a 1-0 defeat. Thanks to FC Koln of Germany 22 year old midfielder 90th minute strike that put the Mozambicans through.
