Aluko Experience Can Be Super Eagles Mojo

Omatsone Aluko will be remembered by Super Eagles fans for his impact against South Africa some few years ago in the first Super Eagles Competitive match to be play on the magnificent Uyo Stadium. A match in which Super Eagles need a win but had to thank a Super sub in Aluko whose late brace saved the team from losing her bragging right to the Bafana Bafana but a result that didn't allow the team to defend the title they won in 2013. Aluko is having the best season of his life for Fulham in the English Championship with 9goals and 10assists and won the Championship Player of the Month for October 2016 for his prowess.

Save for the Fifa U-20 World Cup in 2009, Aluko hasn't had too many opportunities in the green and white with appearances against Republic of Ireland on 29 May 2009 and the game against South Africa on 19 November 2014 while he was included in a pre-selection for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations but had to renounce because of an injury.

At the age of 28, the left-footed player could make his experience count especially with the presence of few old players in the calibre of John Obi Mikel,John Ogu, Carl Ikeme, Elderson Echiejile while his place could be spare alongside Brown Ideye but it will not be fair for Coach Gernot Rohr to consider Ahmed Musa ahead of the Fulham forward for the South Africa fixture and possibly be useful as a Substitute.
