The Reality about NFF, Sports Ministry, Female Footballers and Society

This year alone, the ministry of youths and Sports have found it incredibly tough to release funds or raise money to support teams and athletes for various competitions leading to so many controversies with sporting federations that in modern world should be independent and should be relying on money from Private Co-operate bodies/Individuals.

The Economic situation further exposes many square pegs in round holes heading top positions in the Sports Sector as so many of them doesn't seem to Understand how to run the game. We witnessed many last minutes rescue from Federal Government especially in Rio 2016,Female Table Tennis Players couldn't travel to Egypt, Non payments of Camp Allowances and Bonuses.
Nigerians love Entertainments but only Value the Musicians even when many are singing "Roll your Waist,Give me Banana and Cucumber, I love your Barca,Allow me drink your Juice,Ukwu and Some others praising Moneys and Cars".
We discovered that many don't even attend match venues where gate fee is Five Hundred Naira but pay One Hundred Thousand Naira or More to Watch Musicians which is really not enriching our football clubs and also boast the ego of the Coaches and Players/Athletes.
In the USA,College Students are not allowed to Collect money when Competing for National teams in any Sport because they believe it will promote Negatives more than Positives as it was with the case of Courtney Dike in 2014 when she represented Nigeria at FIFA U-20 Women's Championship and FIFA Women's World Cup in 2015 both in Canada because she is still a student in the USA.

Families and friends always find easy to beg for moneys from footballer even if the player is not yet a full professional but as long as he/she features on TV just as in the Case of 18 year old Falconets defender, Mary Ologbosere that was referred to the traumatic unit of a hospital few days ago in Abuja after she suffered from depression following the inability of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to pay the players what was due to them, after they arrived from the U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
The defender who lost her father while the Falconets were at the World Cup said the entire family were depending on her to return from the competition so they could bury their dad.
However, after their return from the World Cup, they were all shocked to have received a miserly N10,000 and instructed to return to their homes.
A shocked Ologbosere cried all through the night and had to be rushed to the hospital as a result.

We can all continue to blame our errors prone leaders but it is morally wrong for a whole family to depend on a teenager to Carry the financial burden of a burial in this part of the world where we don't cut our clothes in accordance to our sizes.

Is it Compulsory for us to feed the whole community ?

What will happen to her if she spend all her hard earned Cash on the Ceremony and didn't have the Opportunity to Play for the Senior National team(Not every youth player that will play for the senior team) ?

Who will Sponsor her Education since her Dad is now late ?
A Youth International is still a prospect and should not be put under pressure for the sake of development, Female footballers must be encouraged to thread carefully because of the unpredictability of their nature and career span.

Which way Nigerians ?
