The Super Falcons of Nigeria Players were on Wednesday at the National Assembly in Abuja to express their grievances for non payment of allowances by the Nigeria Football Federation, after a victorious outing at the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Following the protest, the Chief of Staff yesterday in Abuja addressed the Super Falcons of Nigeria players about their unpaid allowances and assured the girls of getting their pay this week.

Nigeria Football and Others gathered that, the intention of the girls was to take the protest to the Presidential Villa, but they were informed by a source that the President is in the National Assembly. Getting to the National Assembly they were addressed by the Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Mr. Abba Kyari, and he assured the girls of getting paid this week.
