Though, they recorded a 2-1 victory over Spain in their last group match earlier on Sunday, but could not advance to the quarter finals, having lost 6-0 to Japan in their first match before a 3-1 win over Canada and today's 2-1 victory over Spain, in all this matches, the Falconets could only manage 6points, scoring 5 goals and conceding 8 goals. With -3 goal difference, Falconets could only manage third position in group B with Japan leading the group with 6 points, and +10 goals difference, Spain coming behind Japan with 6 points, and +5 goals difference, Nigeria took third with 6 points and -3 goal difference and Canadians are last on group B log with no point and -12 goal difference. Here is the group log;

Other Africa representative, Ghana, may also bow out of the competition on Monday if they fail to beat USA convincingly in Group C final match. USA currently top group C with 4 points, New Zealand is second with 3 points, France is third with 2 points, while Ghana is last on the log with just 1 point.

From all indications this year competition is a bad market for the Africans.
