Real Madrid thrash Valencia 3-0 as Valverde, Güler and Mbappé find the net

Valencia — Real Madrid continued their impressive run of form with a convincing 3-0 victory over Valencia at the Mestalla on Saturday, 7 November 2026, in LaLiga.

Federico Valverde, Arda Güler and Kylian Mbappé scored as José Mourinho's side secured their eighth consecutive victory across all competitions and moved level on points with league leaders Barcelona.

Real Madrid started the encounter with confidence, although Valencia created the first significant opportunity through Aaron Mayol, whose effort from outside the penalty area forced a save from Thibaut Courtois in the 19th minute.

The visitors gradually took control and opened the scoring in the 28th minute. After Mbappé's free-kick was blocked, Valverde collected the rebound and unleashed a powerful strike from outside the box to give Madrid the advantage.

Madrid doubled their lead eight minutes later. Jude Bellingham delivered a cross into the penalty area, and Güler found space to finish first-time from close range in the 36th minute.

The Turkish midfielder almost added another before the interval, but Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski produced an excellent save to deny his effort.

Valencia attempted to respond after the restart, with Arnaut Danjuma threatening, but Madrid continued to create the better opportunities.

Güler and Mbappé both had chances to extend the visitors' advantage before the French forward eventually found the net in the 75th minute.

Güler produced an excellent pass to release Mbappé inside the penalty area. The striker rounded Dimitrievski before calmly finishing into the empty net to make it 3-0.

The situation worsened for Valencia five minutes later when captain José Gayà received a straight red card for a foul on Mbappé, leaving the hosts with 10 players for the closing stages.

Madrid comfortably managed the remainder of the contest to secure another important victory.

The result moved Real Madrid to 30 points from 12 matches, level with Barcelona at the top of the LaLiga table, although the Catalan side retained first place on goal difference with a game in hand.

Valencia remained in the relegation zone with nine points after another disappointing home performance.
