The squad, announced on Thursday, 5 November 2026, features the return of Chicago Fire defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Orlando Pirates midfielder Thalente Mbatha, while Mamelodi Sundowns youngster Siyanda Ndlovu has earned a place following his impressive performances.
Mbokazi and Mbatha missed South Africa’s previous international camp through injury but have recovered to return to the national team.
Ndlovu is another notable inclusion after forcing his way into the final selection despite not being part of the initial preliminary squad.
However, experienced midfielder Themba Zwane has been left out, alongside several other players who featured in the preliminary selection.
Captain Ronwen Williams and midfielder Teboho Mokoena have both been included despite recent fitness concerns.

Bafana prepare for Kenya double-header
South Africa will host Kenya at the Orlando Amstel Arena in Soweto on Friday, 13 November, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00.
The two nations will meet again in the return fixture in Nairobi on Tuesday, 17 November.
Bafana Bafana currently lead Group D with six points after opening their qualifying campaign with a 2-1 victory over Guinea before recording a convincing 5-0 win against Eritrea.
South Africa also defeated Egypt 1-0 in an international friendly during the same September international window.
Kenya, coached by former Bafana Bafana striker Benni McCarthy, will provide another important test for Mosimane’s side.
Although Kenya are co-hosts of the 2027 AFCON and have already secured a place at the tournament, the team remain involved in the qualifying campaign.
Bafana will therefore be aiming to maintain their strong start and strengthen their position in Group D.
