Kun Khalifat rescue late point against Kano Pillars in NPFL

Owerri, Nigeria — Kun Khalifat FC scored a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw against Kano Pillars in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 12 encounter at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Friday, 6 November 2026.

Kano Pillars appeared set to claim all three points after Sikiru Alimi gave the visitors the lead in the 74th minute.

Alimi's goal put the visitors in a strong position as they looked to secure an important away victory and frustrate the home supporters.

Their persistence paid off in the 90th+2 minute when Ebuka Okoro found the net to bring the home side level and spark celebrations among the supporters.

Both sides ultimately settled for a point, with Kun Khalifat showing determination to fight until the final whistle.

The result provided a dramatic finish to the Matchday 12 contest as both teams continued their NPFL campaigns.
