The result completed a dominant 4-0 aggregate triumph for the Angolan club, who had already taken a 2-0 lead from the first leg.
Primeiro de Agosto controlled the return fixture and never looked in danger of surrendering their advantage. The two-goal win in the second leg underlined their superiority across the two matches and ensured a comfortable passage into the next stage of the competition.
The Angolan side will now face the winner of the tie between DC Virunga and PTL Bazar Brothers in the second preliminary round. That encounter will carry significant stakes, with a place in the group stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup on the line.
Primeiro de Agosto’s clinical performances in both legs highlighted their strength and organisation. Having secured a clean sheet in each match, they demonstrated the defensive solidity and attacking efficiency required to progress in continental competition.
For Green Mamba, the campaign ends at the first hurdle after a difficult assignment against one of Angola’s most established clubs. The Eswatini side were unable to find a way through in either leg and must now turn their attention back to domestic football.
Primeiro de Agosto, a club with a proud history in African competitions, will view this result as an important first step in their continental journey this season. With a healthy aggregate margin and two clean sheets, they head into the next round with confidence and momentum.
Attention now shifts to the identity of their next opponents and the challenge of securing a place among the group-stage contenders. For now, the Angolan side can reflect on a job well done after a professional and convincing display over two legs.
